When I attempt to preview a MSWord document, the preview window appears, all the buttons are drawn, but the content of the window remains blank? I have just installed XP SP2.
With SP2 a new security message is displayed when attempting to download a document from a non-trusted source. This message is suppressed by the preview dialog. You can either add the site to the list of trusted sites for all of the client pcs or change the type of the preview window to 'window'

When I try an view a virtual folder which is physically mapped to a network share I do not see any files
This is usually a permissions issue. You need to ensure that web page is running with the necessary permissions to access the folder.
If you are running DbNetFile.Net then you can control the level of authenticaton with which DbNetFile runs by using the node in the web.config.

I have upgraded to Firefox 2 and my dialog windows disappear behind my main window.
Firefox 2 made some changes to the way dialog windows behave. In order to allow DbNetGrid to bring these dialog windows to the front you need to make a change to the options.
1. Select Tools --> Options --> Content
2. Click on the Advanced button
2. Check the option Raise or Lower Windows
